The 2019 Spring Art Collection
May I confess something? Although I have been a professional artist for over fifteen years, I have never been formally trained in fine arts. With a home art studio in a Schrodinger-flux of flooding, I finally had an opportunity to learn everything I could ever want about Art (most everything you see around here is self-taught). I started big by reading up on other artists and the global art world; exploring auctions, researching techniques, learning art history — building a daily little Renaissance.
A whirlwind of acrylics, watercolors, inks and pencils later, I had a burgeoning collection of art from the Winter and a little of the artistic vocabulary to start to explore my work just like any other artist – something I had never done before. Point in fact, it occurred to me it might be interesting to try to curate my work on a regular basis. And so here are some selected works in the eponymously named 2019 Spring Collection.
